Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Florida ("RNHA Florida," "we," or "us") collects through RNHAFlorida.org and related communications, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

Effective date: October 14, 2026

By using our website, signing up for our lists, or contacting us, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This policy applies to our website and our email and text communications. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our programs, communicate with our community, and meet legal obligations.

Information you give us. This includes your name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address or ZIP code, county, and any message you send. It also includes details you provide when you join, volunteer, register for an event, request information about starting a county chapter, submit a candidate or voter-guide questionnaire, or make a contribution. Providing your language preference (English or Spanish) is optional.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the date and time of your visit.

Information from other sources. We may receive information from publicly available sources, including Florida voter registration records and public campaign finance filings, and from social media platforms when you interact with our pages. Voter file data is used only as the law allows.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers through this site. All payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by RNHA Florida.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Send newsletters, event invitations, voter-engagement updates, and action alerts by email and, with your consent, text message
  • Register members, volunteers, and event attendees, and support county chapter organizing
  • Respond to your questions and requests
  • Plan outreach and voter mobilization efforts across Florida, in English and Spanish
  • Prepare voter guides and other civic education materials
  • Operate, secure, and improve the site
  • Comply with applicable election, campaign finance, and communications laws, and protect our rights

We do not use your information to make decisions that have legal effects on you.

Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep it working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics. We use advertising or social media pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to measure the reach of our outreach and to show our messages to people who may be interested.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended. Some browsers and devices also send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals; we honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers that help us run the site and our communications, such as web hosting, email and text messaging platforms, event registration, and analytics. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Affiliated Republican organizations such as the national Republican National Hispanic Assembly or local chapters, when needed to coordinate events, membership, or chapter formation.
  • Legal and regulatory requirements including reports to the Federal Election Commission or Florida Division of Elections, subpoenas, and other lawful requests, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
  • Organizational changes such as a merger, reorganization, or transfer of our operations.

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you.

Political and advocacy activity

Because RNHA Florida engages in civic and political activity, a few points deserve special mention.

  • Supporter, member, and volunteer lists are used for our own outreach and are not sold, rented, or traded.
  • Voter file data including Florida voter registration records, is used only for permitted purposes and in line with Florida law, which restricts the use of voter information for commercial purposes.
  • Contributions and reporting. Where law requires us to report contributor names, addresses, occupations, or employers, that information may become public through government filings.
  • Candidate questionnaires and voter guides. Responses submitted by candidates are not published. Information from individual supporters who help with these efforts is not published without permission.
  • Public events and photos. If you attend an RNHA Florida event, we may photograph or record it and share images on our website and social media. Tell us if you prefer not to appear.

We do not treat your participation in our events or lists as a record of how you vote.

No sharing of mobile numbers for marketing. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, generally [retention period, e.g., for as long as you remain on our lists plus two years], unless a longer period is required by law, such as campaign finance recordkeeping rules.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@rnhaflorida.org. To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, such as knowing what categories of information we collect, requesting a copy, and opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We may be unable to delete information we are legally required to keep, such as certain campaign finance records.
